Finn Juhl Sideboard
The trained architect and self-taught furniture designer drew the inspiration for this piece from the cubist movement, reflected in the sideboard’s simple geometric shapes with its interlocking sliding doors.HARMONIOUS BEAUTY
The colour elements show his fascination with Goethe’s famous colour circle, which placed the colours in a harmonious cohesion.GORGEOUS FUNCTIONALITY
This Finn Juhl sideboard is a divine piece of contemporary furniture bringing old classic style back into the 21st century, featuring both function and design.EYE-CATCHING PRACTICALITY
This piece features ample organised storage solutions that can be closed behind its clean cabinet doors and the gorgeous walnut veneer contrasts against the soft white doors, making this piece pop.
DENMARK (January 30, 1912 - May 17, 1989) When you look at the graceful shapes and sensual curves of Finn Juhl's work, you may be shocked to realize that he designed these pieces 60 to 70 years ago. A pioneering force in his own country, Juhl felt that furniture, handicraft and art should create a completeness of the house, which in his case was decorated with works of the Danish painters of the time.
