The curved hind legs and the semicircular top rail together with the elegant Y-back endow the chair with a gracious and welcoming air.
DISTINCTIVEThe name refers to the shape of the chair’s back which resembles the breastbone of a chicken. It is a light and relatively small piece of furniture adaptable to almost any interior.
RUSTIC CHARMThe chair is carved from a fine quality wood of your choice, that is, natural ash tree or American walnut.
INSPIRED DESIGNBeautiful from all angles, the Wishbone Y-chair is part of the series “Chinese chairs”, which were inspired by portraits of Danish merchants sitting on Ming chairs.

More specifically, he was instrumental in developing a body of work known as organic functionalism. His early training included both carpentry and architecture before establishing his own furniture studio.
